Clearly, I should add some kind of clear button so that CDJ will resume the whole-library shuffle. There are a number of ways to do it though. Basically you want to do a new search which either produces a null result or selects all of the discs / tracks. Here are some examples of how to do this:

kw=""

will match every disc / track. In fact you can just say

""

and this will also work

To select nothing, simply say something like

kw=!""

which would select the opposite of everything --- which is nothing.

Secondly, is there a way to prevent power on my cd player from turning back on from slinke when I turn it off on the player?

CDJ is turning it back on in an effort to assert dominance over you. You have no option currently but to tell CDJ who's boss by closing CDJ. I'll try to add a power down button to CDJ to shut things off w/o closing it.
