Echostar Remote & EZ Learn Difficulty

I can't seem to get my Dish Network (Echostar 3000) Remote to work w/ EZ Learn. I have tried carrier freqs from 20k to 70k in 5k increments. Any suggestions? My Sony remotes work great. Thanks in advance!
