to display hex numbers, not binary.

if the number of bits in the received message isn't divisible by 8, it will always have to be displayed as binary. the way to view the raw contents of S-Link or IR messages is to load the lowlevel.cde file (do not associate it with any port - just load and name it) This device file has no commands in the file itself but supports many internal commands listed in the help under SlinkX->Low-Level Device Interface.
