In Response To: How many commands can be in a device file? (Jon Welfringer)

I had arbitrarily put in a 100 command limit. I'll try to remove it in the next release. If your trying to do a command space search, the way to do it is by generating the codes on the fly, not by using a device file containing all of them. In an oversight, I forgot to add this feature for IR devices, so I just added it. I'll try to release a new version later tonight with this feature. In your device file you can just put an entry like:

ddddddd:test # the non 01 characters indicate that this is a variable field

to use the entry, simply say something like

tv:test[1010011]

the number of bits doesn't actually need to match what's in the device file. remeber that the prefix and suffix will still be used.
