Minidisc support?

I have a Sony CD Changer hooked to a sony 920 minidisc player w/slink. The CD titles appear on the md player.

Sony's viao multimedia computers supports drag and drop recording with this set up. Apparently in the states, this software/hardware (pci card w/slink and optical out) is not availible seperately.

I was just wondering if there was any planned software support for slink-e?
It would be nice to d/l all the song listings from the internet and then title the md's apropiately.
(whats interesting is I have one CD-text CD, I can make a digital copy of the cd, but the CD-text is protected!)

Also whats the status of the SCMS stripper? (or jitter reducer :)
