3) Something else.

CDJ will not allow both disks to show up. Since the Backstreet Boys (the newer CD) appears to be Bowie (an existing CD), CDJ simply thinks that I moved the CD and identifies the actual Boys CD as Bowie, and I'm left with only one of the two CDs in the database. Each time I tell CDJ to "Search for Discs" in either one of those two slots, it identifies whichever of these two CDs it finds as Bowie.

I'm not familiar with how to find out the true CDDB ID of a CD from www.cddb.com, so I can't tell you what is truth regarding these two CDs. Searching for the album names yields correct song titles on cddb.com, but it's not apparent to me where the "ID" is on these pages.
