The CDDB ID number that you mentioned in your earlier post is the same number CDDB gave me for the B.B. Millennium which is 950ACC0C. I don't have the Bowie CD so I can't help any further with that, but what you describe is exactly what happens to me with 2 CDs that have very similar ID numbers and the same number of tracks. If you have or can download another music program such as MusicMatch, RealJukeBox, or WinAmp they also connect to CDDB and you may be able to see if the Bowie CD has the same or different ID number. I believe Colby is looking into this. The new BBS makes it a little difficult to follow response threads.
