Re: Amp Source Select and Vol+/-

Actually, I wanted to have CDJ/Slinke turn on the amp, as opposed to the cd player doing that task. Reason: I have 3 players (now, adding 2 more in Jan), and the problem is that if I connect all players to the amp, a control confilct will occur (ie: player 1 commands player 3 to stop playing, etc, after the slinke told it to start, etc...) (also, it's not specifically recommended) (sp?) Anyhoo, I wanted CDJ to power up the amp so that whatever command I issued (play, whatever) would be instantaneous as far as playing a song.

But I understand what you're talking about, and if you have 1 player or no mega-control units, by all means, what you say is very do-able. But with my configuration, it's just not a viable option.

Actually, someone got back to me with how to set it up right, and I wrote a little dissertation on the whole thing :) (ok, ok... I was bored!)

But his solution seems to work. But thanks for the suggestion!
