Restart from suspend mode

I have a question regarding starting CDJ again after having shut down the PC (laptop) in suspend mode.

When I shut off my laptop (dedicated for CDJ only), and I restart it again, then it takes several minutes before I can actually make use of it (1000 CD's). A reason for my wife and friends to play the CD players without using CDJ. I am however deeply impressed by the possibilities of CDJ so I would like to convince them also.

I tried several times to shut off my laptop using the suspend mode. When doing this, any other program usually will start up again after only a short "warm up" time. When I do this when CDJ is running I do get the screen of CDJ back again, but it will not send any messages anymore via Slinke to the CD players. Looking at messaging screen of SlinkE it just says once something like "using CDplayer1" but there is not the continuous flow anymore between CDJ and the CD players.

Is there a way to reconnect CDJ and the CD players from this point or is it really only possible via killing the program in total and restarting CDJ from scretch (and thus have to live with this long start up time).

I would very much appreciate any thoughts that my help me to improve the speed at start up time.

Thanks anyway for the great product.

Andre
