1) These are pre-set dim commands. These are only supported by certain more expensive lamp modules. I don't own any, so I can't say much more than that.
2) The CM11a is 2-way, but unlike the slink-e, it doesn't show it's own X-10 transmissions as received data. For example, to get the x10:on[a1] response, something other than the CM11a must send this command (eg a remote keypad).
