I've tried running CDJ on an old DX486 and it's definitely to slow. Resulting in errors with communication to SlinkE box. Also the old harddisk WD 340MB is to slow to read the database files in an acceptable time. So I'm also looking for a cheap PC and I had the same question: what is the minimum requirement. From my expirience I had a fast harddisk is quite important. Right now, I'm using a Pentium II 266MHz with a Quantum 6.4 GB harddisk. I guess it shouldn't be much less than that to operate CDJ satisfactory.
