Re: What PC should I buy for Slinke?

I recently needed to get something inexpensive to replace my old 486 that runs the lights in my house. Wound up buying an refurbished IBM Thinkpad 760 LD from Intellesales.com. 10" active screen, 1 Gb drive, internal floppy, Pentium 90, w/sound, no manuals or software. $250. The box is like new and works OK. Downside is 30 day warranty. If it breaks in half on the 31 st. day, I get to keep the pieces. But, IBM is IBM and the upside is it is small, fairly powerful, quiet AND cheap.
