In Response To: Configuring a Receiver (Justin Gillis)

It's pretty straight forward. I am assuming you are using the supplied de835 device file. If you labeled your receiver as "X", then do the following: open the device file using notepad or some text editor. examine the labels for the commands. i.e. vol+, vol-, mute_on, input[xx] etc... type in the event map file...

cdjr:vol_up {X:vol+}

cdjr:vol_down {X:vol-}

cdjr:mute_on {X:mute_on}

etc...

for volume controls. note that you can place as many X:vol+ or X:vol- commands within the curly brackets to increase your delta volume per "push" of the button.

As for input selection, do the following:

if you just using the cd changer, then type...

cdjr:using_player[cd1] {X:input[xx]}

where xx is the input number as denoted in the device file. Just play around with the commands to get the exact behavior you're looking for. Make sure to observe the commands module in CDJ to see if the commands are being mapped correctly. Hope this helps.
