Anyone controlling a Pioneer DV-F07?

Just picked one of these 301 disc DVD/CD changers today.
Two possible ways to control it - an RS-232 port on the back (but with a custom connector) and a port used for daisy chaining them that looks similar to a S-Link port.
Any pointers to control codes, etc. appreciated.
