Don, When I first got the product a couple of years back I had many of the same problems you describe. I found that given time and experimentation with the slink-e and cdj I was able to pretty much figure out anything. Many times when I thought something wasn't working right, it was my own fault for not perusing the instructions closer. I guess what I am saying is that if you want a product you just pull out of the box and everything is up and going in five minutes then I would suggest you send the product back. This is a product with extraordinary flexibility that in time you will find can do pretty much anything you want to do. However, you have to be patient and willing to dig in and learn the methodology. Believe me, Colby has done and continues to do an excellent job and will periodically add new features upon request. To this day, I have never had Microsoft or any of the other Goliaths listen to one single suggestion I have made or for that matter the vast population. Bottom line -- be patient, give it time and work with it.
