In Response To: Slink-E and Sony TV (David McConnell)

The S-link port on the back of a Sony TV (at least all the ones I am familiar with) is really a baseband IR input port that takes the baseband envelope of the IR signal without the IR. The slink-e will put out this signal (frequency=0). In my system I use a Xantech IR network and i drive the Xantech network for the Slink-e IR output. Xantech makes a device which accepts IR data from its network and produces exactly the signal that the sony TV slink input accepts. Works flawlessly.
