I believe the problem is with Access 2000. If you only modify content that is fine, since the content is changed on the fly. If you ever formally close the database and save it, it then changes the format so that Access 97 can not read it. I will ask someone here at my office with access 97 to attempt to open the data base. I have been very careful never to convert the data base over.
