DXS Dropouts

Soon after the DXS shipped, several of us posted notes about a problem with the unit dropping signals during transfer from one player to another. The effect was to kill the first few notes of the song starting up on the newly activated player. My recollection is that Colby and David both posted notes promising some kind of fix to this problem, since the effect was (is) to make the DXS virtually unusable. The postings about the problem started close to four months ago. I've check the board intermittently and have seen no posting about a fix, nor do I find anything browsing the Web site. Can somebody point me to a posting or help file containing the fix? Thanks.
