I doubt this works consistently. I tried using the ca:power_off commands on my system and found them to behave exactly the same as the s-link power_off command. The 5/22 version shuts down ID3 players, then ID2 players, then ID1 players. This solved the problem with my system because it shuts down the master first (mind you the CX300 master is not in megacontrol mode anyway).
