Re: DCOM, Win2K & CDJ

I have 2 machines, a server and a laptop. Both are running Windows 2000 Professional. The server is connected to the slinke via serial cable, and CDJ works great on this machine. I would like to run slinkeserv on the server, and use CDJ on my laptop, across a 10BaseT TCP/IP network. Both machines belong to a workgroup called workgroup, and the userid's used on each exist on both computers, and are members of the Administrator group. I have defined the security for the Nirvis.slinke application on each computer in DCOMCNFG to give the Administrator group, and network users full access to use, start, and modify the application. I have also set the options listed in the help file to the required values, although Win 2K has a lot of options not covered in the Slinke help file.
