I am using Access 2000 with no problems. I don't believe there should be any reason why Access 97 does not work. If you use access 2000 do NOT let it convert the data base.
The little box with the modular plug cord is an IR Blaster so that you can control IR devices by setting it up so that it bathes the room in IR
