That has potential, depending on how their patch panel works out (the house is still being built, so I haven't gotten to play with it all yet). I was interested in the fiber because I don't have any other way to use it at present (like I said, they don't even tell you you're getting it anywhere in their glossies), while I very well might need to use both of the RG-6 and Cat-5 drops for some rooms (working from home is likely to involve two separate dishes on the roof, for instance, and I might end up with two different physical networks in the house for various reasons).

I had them wire a few extra rooms in the house over the standard install, but I didn't think about the possibilities of it enough before the deadline to have them run multiple bundles to each major room. I really should have, since I'm not a typical consumer in that regard.
