There is a new module for HomeSeer that will support the Slink-e. You can do what you want easily with HomeSeer and the Slink-e. You can learn IR with the Slink-e, either through EZ-Learn (Slink-e software) or HomeSeer. HomeSeer's learning is a bit more limiting at the moment but that will change (I think).
