[slinkelist] Slink-e back from the dead

I seem to have resolved my Slink-e problem. In desperation, I tried 
unplugging *everything*--disconnected the S-Link cable from both the 
Slink-e and the CD player, disconnected the serial cable, unplugged 
the power cables for the CD player as well as the Slink-e and the 
computer. Then I put it all back together again, and it all works 
again.

Very odd. Perhaps this has something to do with the Sony CD player 
not really turning off completely? Who knows.
