I bought the 350 about one year ago, and too one look at the remote and
the 2-(NO)Way remote is still in the original packing bag never been
used.
I later bought STR-DB930 receiver and that had the 2-Way remote also,
and that one I MUST use, after first 10 seconds I felt wanted to throw
that remote out of the window, and ever since I have been regretting
that I didn't.

If I had to choose between 2 otherwise identical models ,I for one would
pay more for one WITHOUT the 2-way remote.

'm not sure if the 400 has the "MegaChanger" feature, but that one is
quite useless when you have Slinke box & CDJ. Find out if the 400 can
also act as "MegaChanger" master (controlling another player), if it can
then I see no reason to pay extra for that horrible remote.

I though to list all what is wrong with the remote, but it's much easier
to list what is not wrong with the remote :

. (end of list)
