I haven't used the remote very much, since I now have a Slink-e.  But, if=
 you're
problems with it are the user interface, then I certainly must agree!  =
It's
awful having to open the lid to get to frequently used functions.  OTOH, =
I find
its functionality to be pretty good ... I suspect the ability to search =
by
title, artist, etc. could be pretty useful ... but I've never actually =
used
those features!  Nor have I used it enough to see if anything is missing.=
  But,
in my mind, it's all irrelevant ... with a Slink-e there's just no need =
for it.

OTOH, I've found a universal remote to be very useful with my Slink-e, =
since an
unused device can be used to control CDJ!
