My own searches in this direction turned up lots of shutdown sites--my
surmise is that the record companies regard CD cover art publication as
copyright infringement.

But there's an obvious solution that stared me in the face for several days
before I saw it: CDnow.com. Most of the CDs there carry an associated cover
image. Just download the image to disk and you are done!
