[21:50:52] is the time, so don't trouble over that too much... unless it reads [03:52:11] in which case you are working too late and should get some rest...
i'm not sure what the problem is. i just tried compiling ctvremote with a new filename straight from its location in the install and put a IRTXONLY device file there (with the new filename i specified) and it loaded just fine. try changing the code to use an absolute path just to make sure....
