I have a slightly different automation that I use - If there are no amps on, I tell CDJ to go to sleep. All the amps are s-link, so I know their status.
If you have only one s-link amp, you should be able to do this in a map file - a power_off from the amp yields a cdj:sleep.
If you have a multi-zone system, it gets more complicated. If anyone wants to know how I did this, just let me know.
