I notice no signal degredation & LOVE the separate level controls for each channel. It is a 10 channel device (so 5 stereo) - I use 6 channels today -2 Changers & 1 Computer. I think 6 channels come in on separate inputs(and separate level control), then the last 4 channels come in on stereo inputs (and have a single level control). It has both RCA and mini-plug outputs, as well as a headphone jack which is great for testing when I've got my head up in my closet & I want to hear the mixed output.
