Slink-E Set Up With 2 Players

Can I clarify the best setup regarding connecting 2 CX260's, along with a Sony MD player and CDJ (Slink-E)

I'm still having trouble getting CDJ to cross fade, and it has been suggested that the bus switches on the players are set to 1 and 2 (??) and that each player should have its own connection to the Slink-E.

Ideally, I would like CDJ to cross fade as well as using a standalone master/slave player config without CDJ. I also would like to use the Mega Control on the Song MD player I have.
