This sounds like a problem with the display. The display also shares a common data bus with another chip in the DXS which is resonsible for detecting the active inputs. A bad display could cause the DXS to be unable to auto-switch correctly. Give us a call at 510.525.2850 or e-mail to help@nirvis.com so that we can make arrangements to repair your unit.
