In Response To: Printed CD index (suggestions needed) (Phill Stanton)

A simple way to get your CD library into Excel is:

1. Install the Generic / Text Only printer driver (under manufacturer name "Generic"). For device choose FILE:.
2. In CDJ, right-click on a library window column header, choose "Customer header" and have it show the columns you want to export.
3. Click the Print button in CDJ and choose Library. You will be prompted for a file name.
4. Open the file from Excel as a text file. Choose Fixed-width and mark the column boundaries.

Of course, from Excel it is easy to export to Access or other programs.
